TollNet a.s. was founded in 2010 and since then it has focused on the design, development and supply of products and end-to-end solutions for electronic toll collection (ETC), electronic highway vignettes, EETS and compliance checking/enforcement. TollNet company is a member of the ITIS Holding since 2022.

A key cornerstone of company’s product portfolio is the Billien product family, including the Billien 5 information system, hybrid on-board units, smart cameras, software for control gantries and mobile enforcement and others. Application software can either be deployed into a customer’s own environment, to a cloud environment, or provided as a service.

TollNet operates with a certified integrated management system (incl. ISO 9001, 14001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 37001, ISO 45001).

Since 2026, the company has been a holder of the "Sustainable Company" certificate.

Building mission-critical tolling and enforcement platforms across Europe

Czech Republic – Satellite-based national ETC (SEM)

As a general contractor, TollNet supplied major parts of the Czech Electronic Toll Collection System (SEM) that went live on 1 December 2019, replacing the previous microwave system with a new satellite-based system in 14 months. It includes Billien 5, the Billien OBU 5051 hybrid OBU, and application software for enforcement infrastructure.

Slovak Republic – ETC modernization and e-vignettes enablement

TollNet supported the national satellite toll system landscape in Slovakia through a multi-year modernization project starting in 2011, spanning central system (Billien 5), OBUs, enforcement back office (EFBO), mobile enforcement (MEV) and control gantries.

The Slovak toll road network, which is fully covered by the solution provided by TollNet, covers toll sections with a total length of around 17,770 km (as of January 1, 2014).

For electronic highway vignettes in Slovakia, TollNet delivered a complete Billien 5-based solution enabling a full shift to electronic vignettes. Qualified estimates indicate public sector cost savings of up to 60% with a 10% increase in revenue.

TollNet became part of ITIS Holding (announced 4 March 2022), alongside SkyToll, CzechToll and PaySystem, to strengthen a group-wide portfolio in intelligent transport system solutions.
