Smart Mobility turns transport networks into connected, data-driven systems—so mobility becomes more efficient, transparent and fair, and sustainable at scale. It integrates digital technologies, data analytics, and real-time communication through Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), enabling operators and authorities to manage mobility proactively rather than reactively.
At ITIS Holding, our role is to connect and scale Smart Mobility capabilities through our operating companies - so customers can realize end-to-end outcomes across the mobility value chain. This spans the full journey from research and development, hardware and software engineering, and system integration, to operation, enforcement, and service delivery - delivered through the operating companies in line with local regulatory and operational requirements.
In practice, Smart Mobility covers the capabilities required to design, integrate, and run complex ITS programs. This includes road user charging (RUC), connected infrastructure such as weigh-in-motion (WIM) and CCTV, and the related RUC enforcement (ENF) and compliance integration - helping ensure pricing and rules are applied consistently and accountably.
It also includes multimodal integration across systems and stakeholders, real-time data and predictive analytics (AI) to improve operational performance, and readiness for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication where ecosystems are evolving in that direction. Crucially, Smart Mobility depends on proven system integration competence for complex, multi-actor projects, combined with strong service delivery across the lifecycle and operational competence wherever customers require long-term responsibility.
